Supporting Your Body During Cancer — and Helping You Thrive Again
Cancer changed the way I looked at everything.
Not just treatment, but nutrition, inflammation, metabolic health, movement, stress, environmental exposures, and the everyday choices that can support the body during and after a cancer diagnosis.
After going through my own breast cancer journey, I became passionate about learning everything I could about whole-body wellness. I combined conventional medical care with integrative support and started paying much closer attention to what I was putting in my body, what I was putting on my body, and how I could create an environment that supported healing and recovery.
Now I share what I’ve learned with other women who want to feel more informed, empowered, and supported throughout their own journey.
My Cancer Story
I know what it feels like to have your entire life change with one diagnosis.
My own experience pushed me to become deeply involved in understanding my health instead of simply going through the motions.
I started asking more questions.
Why was inflammation so important?
What role does metabolic health play?
How can I support my body during treatment?
What should I be eating?
What products am I putting on my skin every day?
How do hormones, gut health, sleep, stress, movement, and detoxification fit into the bigger picture?
Those questions led me down a completely different path — and ultimately became the reason I created Thrive Again Wellness.
I share the things I’ve learned because I want other women to know there are ways to actively participate in their wellness journey while still working closely with their medical team.
My Approach to Cancer Wellness
Cancer wellness is about supporting the whole person — not replacing your oncology team or cancer treatment.
Some of the areas I focus on include:
Metabolic health & inflammation — supporting healthy blood sugar, insulin sensitivity, movement, strength, sleep, and nutrition.
Nutrition — prioritizing whole foods, protein, nutrient density, and reducing highly processed foods when possible.
Non-toxic living — learning where you can realistically reduce unnecessary chemical exposures in your home and personal-care routine.
Recovery & rebuilding — helping support strength, energy, mobility, and overall wellness during life after treatment.
Hormone & menopause education — especially for women navigating surgical or treatment-induced menopause.
Wellness therapies & resources — sharing therapies, products, books, testing, and resources I have personally researched or used.
Questions to bring to your providers — helping you become a stronger advocate for yourself and have more productive conversations with your care team.
You Don’t Have to Figure Everything Out Alone
There is so much information after a cancer diagnosis that it can feel completely overwhelming.
My goal is to help simplify it.
I share the resources, lifestyle strategies, products, books, and wellness tools that helped me better understand and support my own body — along with the questions I wish I had known to ask earlier.
If you’re navigating cancer, recovering after treatment, or simply trying to rebuild your health after everything your body has been through, I’d love to help point you toward resources that may support you.
